The show opens on this Friday... with the vernissage being held on Saturday, March 28.

I was asked to be present and to present a short talk about the exhibition... the River and its importance in my life and my painting! Look forward to that opportunity to share further!

Thanks for dropping by and for your gracious and uplifting comments and best wishes!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
BruceBruce Shermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13111784187521969252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013724465609653382.post-82927256706290491912015-03-18T19:14:23.334-04:002015-03-18T19:14:23.334-04:00Hi Bruce, it's a nice, varied collection, with...Hi Bruce, it's a nice, varied collection, with different subjects and sizes. All together they give a good impression of life along the river. Hopefully there will be something to appeal to everyone, and I hope it goes well for you.

All the best,
KeithKeith Tilleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04114006831583939493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013724465609653382.post-42776797599998105332015-03-13T21:50:02.720-04:002015-03-13T21:50:02.720-04:00Hi there Rhonda!... Looking at these, I fell in love with the triptych, then said, no, the mill and that gorgeous warm light is my favorite, no wait, Smugglers Cove with new ice and I want to live there - this one must be my favorite! ha ha Must mean there are A LOT of good paintings in that bunch! Best of luck with the show :)RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013724465609653382.post-80750736342300916882015-03-13T08:31:24.186-04:002015-03-13T08:31:24.186-04:00Good morning Sherry!... Simply because... it fairly "painted itself". I just held the brushes! One of those rare "Aha" moments in life!

Now down to the preps for delivery to the Gallery on Tuesday! The hard past is done though!

Good Painting!... and I DID so love your kitten water color. Sensitive,,, loose and transparent. A gem Sherry!
Warmest regards,
BruceBruce Shermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13111784187521969252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013724465609653382.post-77573198874996677732015-03-13T05:42:09.776-04:002015-03-13T05:42:09.776-04:00Comes the Morning and Winter Warmth...the light yo...Comes the Morning and Winter Warmth...the light you have captured in these two is just super brilliant, Bruce. I also love Fred's Guild...I know I've seen several incarnations of this piece but for some reason, this time it gave rise to my own mental images of memories of things read or seen over the years. Each piece is just truly beautiful and I think I can just never pick a favorite anymore; there are too many of them.Autumn Leaveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010044052621228719noreply@blogger.com
