Like you we had a dry warm spell, which has now turned cold and wet. We've had some wildfires as well because of the dry ground.

All the best,
KeithKeith Tilleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04114006831583939493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013724465609653382.post-5801006374178520462012-06-06T05:54:43.146-04:002012-06-06T05:54:43.146-04:00Hi there Douglas!... It is interesting to see what is blooming up there. We have many of the same sort of flowers here in Texas but ours bloomed a few months ago.Douglas Clarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13814926126903308566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013724465609653382.post-89627473987076025112012-06-05T10:33:32.401-04:002012-06-05T10:33:32.401-04:00Good Morning Hilda!... Thank you for visiting and for your compliment on the "Boathouse" sketch!

A lot of fussy Victorian detail... but that is the charm of the place. Combine that with an unruly brush-ink pen and voila! A recipe for disaster!

The flowers here are over-the-top gorgeous everywhere you look. The Moonlit poppies??? I saw the moon just as I was retiring to the basement studio to post last night, so I grabbed the camera and went across the road. Pure fluke it was... and not my photography skills at all! HA HA!! Just like painting sometimes... the result is out of your hands. It just..."is"!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
BruceBruce Shermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13111784187521969252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3013724465609653382.post-22429199525143213502012-06-05T05:42:28.255-04:002012-06-05T05:42:28.255-04:00Bruce, I love the sketch so much.
